Last updated 2 years ago

Gemini Gallery is open 4 days a week, from Thursday until Sunday, between 12 and 5 PM. The gallery owners are the only ones with access to the gallery itself. Therefore, Andrei was never alone at the Gemini office. During the internship period, Andrei attended Gemini Gallery over 60% of the time. On top of this, Andrei has worked remotely as well.

In the first two weeks of collaboration between Andrei and Gemini Gallery, Andrei has spent the majority of his time creating the Situational Analysis and conducting research about website builders and marketing strategies.

In the second week of the internship, Andrei created a shared work environment on Google Drive. The upcoming step was to create a website staging environment via Squarespace and explore the app.

Andrei used to attend Gemini Gallery regularly and work to complete the website.

During the 5th week of the internship, the website was up and running. From this point forward, Andrei worked closely with Agnes to iterate the website, adding new content for the E-Commerce page and creating the artist pages.

In week 6, Andrei started with the creation of 3D Models for the artwork. It should be noted that the process of creating one complete scan of a physical asset takes on average between 12 and 20 minutes. Over 50 models were created during the internship period.

As the collection of 3D Models started to grow, Andrei started to publish the 3D Models on and also embed some of them onto the .

The website creation process was intertwined with the process of SEO and marketing research. As the intern searched for best practices for web development.

The website iteration process spread over a period of 4 months. Sometimes small, and other times major updates have to be implemented.
