Context
The owners of Gemini Gallery welcomed me with open arms into their enterprise. They were kind, curious, and receptive to suggestions. During the internship period, the work at Gemini Gallery helped me develop on a personal and professional level.
Given the fact my background is in International Business, the owners of Gemini Gallery expected me to lead the overall digital operation. As suggested by Agnes Palimaka in the Midterm appraisal, leadership and perseverance were some of my strongest qualities.
Situation
As Gemini Gallery is a modern art exhibition with splendid artworks, their digital presence should be outstanding as well.
Task
Create an adequate website suitable for a modern art gallery.

Reflection
The website Gemini Gallery is using today is the product of countless iterations effectuated during the internship. Together with Agnes, we developed a state-of-art website; suitable for an art gallery in 2023. Attention to detail and design suggestions from Agnes has given me plenty of opportunities to practice. And the more I was repeating website editing, the easier it became. I could observe a gradual improvement in my skill set. A similar story with the creation of 3D Models as well. Repetition truly is “the mother of learning, the father of action, which makes it the architect of accomplishment.” ― Zig Ziglar.20 Oct 2019 Even this very website in which I choose to present my portfolio is a point towards my self-improvement. During my work visits at Gemini Gallery on Sundays, the conversations in Dutch with Piotr have given me confidence and encouragement to pursue my work.
Being surrounded by works of art is inspiring. Every sculpture and painting is carrying a different background and story. And they can provide the observer with a glimpse of inspiration. Works of art require interaction the same as humans require experiences. The first time I entered Gemini Gallery I was perplexed. The paintings, the sculptures, and the gallery itself overloaded my mind with content I never experienced before. Gemini Gallery is a clean, bright, and modern art gallery. The music is nice and usually, it smells like flowers, tea, or coffee. For the very first time, I had the opportunity to spend time in an art gallery and work at the same time. Gemini Gallery was by far the best workplace I have ever experienced. For this reason, I am deeply grateful to Agnes and Piotr Palimaka for offering me this opportunity. What started as a volunteering proposal, turned into an internship and overall into a prosperous relationship aiming to continue the collaboration in the future. At the moment of writing these very words, I see no reason for me, Andrei Fisca to end the partnership with Agnes, Piotr, and Gemini Gallery. This collaboration brought me purpose, opportunity, lessons, well-being, and knowledge. The mindset and skillset I have developed during the internship have helped me to land my first .
